Every human person possesses an inherent desire for happiness and truth that points beyond temporal realities to God. St. Augustine famously declared: "You have made us for Yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they rest in You." Through natural reason, man can discern the existence of God from the order and beauty of creation.
